Clint Bondad’s following of Tom Rodriguez sparks intrigues

Eagle-eyed netizens noticed that model Clint Bondad is following only one celebrity on Instagram – Tom Rodriguez.

This was more than enough for bashers to raise their collective eyebrows.

It all started when a female netizen noticed on X (formerly Twitter) that Clint is following Tom.

“Just in: Clint Bondad is only following Tom Rodriguez on Instagram, no one else,” the female fan said last May 21.

Tongues wagged because of that intriguing post, more so now when netizens were thinking as to why Clint left former Miss Universe Catriona Gray and why Carla Abellana dumped Tom like a hot potato months after their wedding.

It didn’t help that Tom, in a recent interview said: “I am seeing someone.

Another fan posted on X: “Clint Bondad is following Tom Rodriguez on Instagram. He is the only person he is following. Plss ayaw ko mag overthink (crying emoji)”

Still, another fan commented: “Just in: Clint Bondad is following Tom Rodriguez on Instagram. He is the only person he is following. Sana all isa lang fnofollow.”

Years back, Clint was romantically-linked to Thai transwoman billionaire and Miss Universe Organization owner Jakkaphong “Anne” Jakrajutatip who posted a slew of intimate photos with Clint.

An online portal tried to reach out to Clint and Tom for comment but they have not responded.

Carla Abellana, in 2022, revealed why she left Tom.

“Ang taong lubos na nasaktan hirap pong pigilang hindi ilabas ang galit sa anumang paraan. I was disrespected. I was betrayed. I was lied to. I was used. I was shamed,” she said.

In a past interview, Rey “PJ” Abellana quashed gay rumors that hound Tom for the longest time.

“Kung may posibilidad ang isyu na ‘yan, e, sa tingin ng lahat hindi mapapansin ‘yan ng anak ko more than 7 years na relasyon nila. Sa tingin ninyo hindi ba masisilip o malalaman o madidiskubre ng anak ko ‘yan?” he said.

“Hindi ako naniniwala umabot sila sa kasalan kung may gender isyu, hindi ‘yan aabot sa kasalan,” he stressed.

Tom denied, too, that he was gay.

“A lot of the best people… most of the best people I know happen to be of that persuasion. Happen to be gay. Best people I’ve known. So, kung ayun lang inaano, hindi insulto para sa akin yun,” he said. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
