Bullying Allegations Surface After Grade 11 Student Stabs 2 Classmates in Zamboanga City

Two students were wounded after being stabbed by their 17-year-old Grade 11 classmate at Cabaluay National High School in Zamboanga City on Wednesday morning.

Police said the suspect carried a knife, claiming he was frequently bullied by the victims. One victim sustained a head injury, while the other was stabbed in the side.

Both received immediate first aid from Bureau of Fire Protection responders and are now in stable condition.

Parents rushed to fetch their children following the incident. The victims’ families have yet to decide whether to file charges against the suspect.

In a statement, DepEd–Zamboanga assured that the school acted swiftly to secure students’ safety and continues to monitor the situation to provide necessary intervention. # (RRN)
