House Prosecution Spokesperson and Kabataan Rep. Renee Co branded Vice President Sara Duterte’s pre-trial brief in the impeachment case as “ampao, kulang, halos wala, tunog lata” — hollow and lacking substance.

Co said the defense team appeared to have copied the prosecution’s list of witnesses and documentary evidence, showing no intent to present independent testimony or proof.

Dahil ang tingin natin, either wala po talagang sagot or ayaw talagang sagutin,” she added.

Co cited undeclared firearms registered under Duterte’s name but absent from her Statement of Assets, Liabilities, and Net Worth (SALN), noting the defense camp offered no explanation.

“Yung nakalagay po sa pre-trial brief ni VP Sara, lahat po sila ay pare pareho: to rebut the articles of impeachment or to disprove yung mga articles na yun,” she said.

“So sa atin, hindi po nagpapakita ng kahit counter doon sa mga nakalagay sa articles of impeachment.”  # (RRN)
