Former Senator Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV alleged that rumors of a so‑called “parking fee” at the Office of the Ombudsman are gaining traction because high‑profile cases remain stalled.
The former senator noted that his complaint has been pending for seven to eight months without progress. Meron nga rin silang joint venture with the Discayas,” he explained.
Trillanes further claimed that Go’s family allegedly engaged in arrangements where they built projects but gave commissions to those lending their triple‑A licenses.
As of press time, Go and Ombudsman Jesus Crispin Remulla have yet to issue a response to Trillanes’ revelations.# (ZIA LUNA)
