Jackie Forster extensively defended her son Kobe Paras, from his breakup with Kyline Alcantara.
This, after Kobe was bashed left and right as he was shown in two photos where he was holding hands while walking with an unnamed girl.
Jackie released a statement in a nearly 15-minute video where she confirmed the separation of Kobe and Kyline. In the process, she defended Kobe from cheating allegations that surfaced after the breakup.
Jackie said that her family initially wanted to veer away from the issue as they decide to “keep quiet,” but when cheating allegations surfaced, they deemed it best to tell their version of the truth as they no longer wanted “more accusations” to float.
Jackie initially identified timelines, offering that Kobe and Kyline’s relationship began on shaky ground in January after the couple’s trip to the United States ,where she finally met Kyline personally.
Jackie said that her son “wanted to try to get past” their issues but eventually he decided to leave Kyline as some things become “unforgivable.”
Still, Jackie’s family was in contact with Kyline “to console her for hours.”
“We are Kobe’s family, but out of respect, we still tried to be there for her, to help console her, to listen, and to be understanding,” Jackie said.
Jackie claimed that Kyline was still in communication with them “up until the day before Easter”, trying to convince Kobe to “apologize to her so they could still fix things.”
Jackie claimed that after the separation, Kyline’s camp was revving up false stories on social media that portray Kobe in a negative light.
“I’m confused as to why Kyline and the people on her side are allowing Kobe to look like he’s a cheater, and she just wants to keep quiet to protect her own peace,” Jackie said.
In her statement, Jackie also explained Kobe’s use of Kyline’s car. She said Kyline lent her car to Kobe as his car was being repaired.
Jackie felt that Kobe was being judged for quickly moving on after his separation with Kyline “but I think that’s better than loving someone while pretending to be somebody that they’re not.”
Finally, Jackie revealed that some people had issued some warnings about Kyline but she refused to listen to them.
“I defended you, Kyline. I regret not listening to those warnings.”
This month, Kyline and Kobe unfollowed each other on Instagram, which sparked rumors of their separation. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
