Mark Bautista defends Sarah Geronimo

Mark Bautista defended Sarah Geronimo in a viral post of a netizen who criticized the Popstar for altering some lyrics of the song  ‘Good Luck, Babe’.

Sarah sang the song recently on ASAP Natin ‘To.

“The lyric changes?

To this, Mark reacted, saying, “Nothing wrong with this. Most Singers do this to feel authentic when they do their own version. It has to align with their truth. It’s not to undermine the composer or the original message of the song.”

Fans of Sarah also defended the singer.

“So pag kumanta ang lalake ng “Reflection”, yung kanta sa Mulan, he cannot change the noun girl to boy or man? So he is to be persecuted din for changing the word woman to man? What special type or kind of entitlement do these people demand ba? FYI. Isn’t it that the LGBTQIABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ+- has an infinite number of titles depending on what they want and they have even twisted the English grammar with these appalling never heard before pronouns?” (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
