2NE1 breaks record

Legendary girl group 2NE1 is currently  making history in music as it is  breaking the record for the highest queue for a K-pop act in the country.

A Facebook report showed that “Over 275,000 users lined up at SM Tickets to purchase public sale tickets for their Welcome Back concert, set to take place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on November 16, surpassing previous records set by Seventeen (201,000+), Blackpink (164,000+), Enhypen (157,000+), IU (150,000+), and Twice (130,000+).”

“These numbers could fill up five nights at the Philippine Arena, the largest indoor arena in the world!,” the report added.

2NE1 is the Korean female group composed of CL, Dara, Park Bom, and Minzy. They debuted in 2019 and disbanded in 2016.

Dara is Sandara Park who is a product of a reality search show.  She was paired with Hero Angeles.

Fans are excited for the group’s reunion concert.
