Lotlot de Leon it seems, favored Jericho Rosales’s budding romance with her daughter Janine Gutierrez.
When asked by a veteran columnist Jun Nardo if she is in favor of Jericho Rosales for her daughter Janine during an interview for an online show, Lotlot did not give an outright admission.
“Ako, basta ang importante sa akin unang-una (ay) ‘yung kagaya n’yan, ipinagmamalaki ‘yung mga anak ko,” she said.
“Ang sarap nu’ng, ‘Uy, girlfriend ko (siya),’ or ‘Dine-date ko (siya),’ or parang ‘I really want to be with her.’ Ang sarap na marinig ‘yon from someone who’s admiring your child,” she further explained.
But Lotlot clarified that she never said that she favored Jericho over Paulo Avelino who was romantically-linked with her daughter before.
“Unang-una po, ngayon lang ulit ako lumabas at nagpa-interview. Wala pa po akong ibang nakakausap at walang ibang nagtatanong sa akin ng kahit ano,” she explained.
“So kung ano man po ‘yung mga nababasa niyo—wala po akong sinasabi about anyone, so hindi po totoo,” she added.
Janine and Jericho were first spotted in a mall together. This was followed by a date at the National Museum.
In his solo mediacon for Lavender Fields, Jericho admitted they were indeed dating.
“We’re dating. We’re getting to know each other ” Jericho said.
Jericho initially met Janine’s family whe he graced the single launch of Janine’s brother Diego. Then he attended Janine’s grandmother Pilita Corrales’ birthday. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
