Pulang Araw is lagging behind the ratings of Coco Martin’s Batang Quiapo which was why Kapuso headwriter pleadingly asked televiewers to watch it on free TV instead of Netflix.
Suzette’s open declaration of desperation came when she posted a message on her X account.
“Oy, lambing lang sa mga nagustuhan ang #PulangAraw Ayos lang na manood kayo sa #PulangArawOnNetflix . Pero nood din sa tv ha, kahit buksan ninyo lang,” Suzette recently tweeted.
This comes right on the heels of rumors that GMA executives were rattled when Pulang Araw recently got a single digit rating.
Sadly, Suzette’s request seemingly fell on deaf ears as netizens lambasted her show and showed their collective support to Batang Quiapo.
“Pano ba namn kasi nakisabay sila sa abs cbn na walang prangkisa. Kala ko ba malakas sila sa ratings at no. 1 sila sa bansa. Nag online platform lang ang abs cbn pati sila nakisabay din . Kung tutuusin May franchise sila at malaya sila mag palabas sa free tv . Dina nila kailangan sa online. Mas maiintindihan pa ang abs kasi wala sila franchise kaya kung saan saan sila nag papalabas ng mga palabas nila,” wailed one fan.

Please stop because GMA Network has a controversy that currently facing where Sandro Muhlach filed a complaint case on August 1 for the abuse happened at the recently concluded #GMAGala2024,” said another fan.
