Kris Aquino will be spending Christmas in the country, but only when she completes a medical procedure that’s necessary to ensure her safety.
Kris gave a detailed medical update in her recent interview with Ogie Diaz in the US.
“Thank you sa lahat ng mga nagdadasal for me pero ayokong pabigatin ang dala nila. Let’s keep it na positive na yes, gumagaling ako pero as I told you earlier, may natamaan na blood vessels. So, kailangan ko pang magpalakas. Because you’re you and I love you so I can reveal to everybody na hopefully sa last quarter ng taon, bago mag-Pasko, I’ll be back in the Philippines,” Kris said in the interview.
Before she flies home, Kris revealed she will have to undergo a medical procedure to ensure that she’s fit to travel.
“It just really depends kasi may pagdadanan akong mga test. Isa ‘dun yung MRI with contrast dye. Du’n ako natatakot. ‘Yun yung test na hihiga ka, papasok ka tapos pero parang malaking machine na ga’nun tapos maingay siya kahit bigyan ka ng noise cancellation maririnig mo pa rin. And that’s close to an hour. Merong isu-shoot sayo tapos may kulay yung dye, sa buong katawan mo dadaan yan,”she related.
Kris admitted she had fears to undergo the said procedure because of her bad experience in the past.
“May fear ako kasi the last time I had that done was way back 2019. E ang mga allergy nag-e-evolve. In-assure naman ako na kaya ko daw, na-survive ko ‘yun bago kami umalis ng Pilipinas so that would be 2022 nkapag-pet scan na ako, ‘yun ‘yung para malaman kung may cancer ka. Fear ako du’n and kinaya ko naman ‘yung in-inject sa akin nu’ng panahon na ‘yun,” she explained.
Only when she passes the test will she be given the greenlight to return to the country.
“Pag-clear yun at kinaya, then pwede nang ituloy sa Pilipinas ‘yung treatment sa’kin,” she said.
For more than three years now, Kris has Bern living in the US after seeking treatment for her multiplen autoimmune diseases. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
