Jake Zyrus was obviously miffed when a basher compared her voice to fellow lesbian Ice Seguerra.
In a comment on social media, the basher asked Jake why he lost his natural voice when Ice was able to keep his original voice.
Jake obviously took offense at the basher’s comparison of him and Ice that he explained himself.
His difference, said Jake, is the fact that Ice didnât go through hormone therapy, something which he said the basher is “ignorant” about.
âFirst of all, with respect to my past, keep my deadname out of your silly mouth. And darling, itâs because he hasnât taken any hormone therapy. Itâs a HUGE part of being a transman. maybe there are more important reasons why he hasnât taken hormone therapy. I am not going to explain the rest because based on your comment you sound ignorant. For Jake, there’s more to hitting a high note.
âRight. You support a trans, and bash another trans because of what? Birit? Yun lang? Make it make sense sis. Hater. Being a transgender is more than just singing high or low notes,” he added.
In exasperation, Jake expressed his biggest disappointment at the basher who called her by her original name, Charice.
