đˇAra Mina
Was Ara Mina being alluded to in a Facebook post recently where a theatregoer felt the inconvenience of watching the One More Chance musicale?
A certain B Delgado on Facebook posted about her bad experience while watching a musicale.
“Congratulations to the cast & crew of ONE MORE CHANCE. To be fair, the show was good. At least Act 1 was kasi yun lang naman napanood ko. As a Ben & Ben and One More Chance fan, I waited so long to finally watch it. I even posted a video when they announced it at the closing show of Walang Aray. Before I could even ask my family and friends, I bought tickets already for all of them. I was THAT excited. But all was ruined in act 2. This was my view from âRide Homeâ until the iconic âyou had me at my best..â. Wala akong ma absorb sa act 2 until the end na nung nagkabalikan na si Popoy at Basha because there were 2 phones on full brightness and a freakin laptop! They werenât gona stop until I tapped their shoulder,” she initially said in her long aria.
Then she castigated the usher of Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) for not going after a celebrity who was using her cellphone while the musicale was going on.
“Ano yun, Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA)? When itâs a nobody, your ushers weave through the crowd to stop them but when itâs a celebrity and friends, dedma nalang? They were seated on the house seats so there was an usher beside them. On top of that, the short haired b***h had the audacity to look back, gave me a death stare and head to toed me. Not once, but twice! As in ang tagal ng stare niya!
“Sabihin na natin that these people really donât have theatre etiquette coz clearly, none talaga! This is where I blame PETAs ushers! Youâre not there to watch the show. May trabaho kayo! Bakit hindi niyo pinigilan? Bakit hindi niyo inisip the audience around these uneducated people?! I paid to see the show not fuckin gadgets!” she said.
In the end, she took a photo of the celebrity who was using her gadget while the play was still on going.
“I snapped this pic when the house lights were on to show how bright their screens were. Imagine when the house lights were down?! Worst theatre experience ever. Thank you PETA!” she said.
In a separate Facebook post, B Delgado reiterated her frustration.
“Aaaanyway, I did not mean for the post to spread in the industry. Grabe lang talaga yung sama ng loob ko lastnight. I kept a happy face to congratulate the cast kasi totoo naman, mahusay naman kasi talaga sila. I was raving about act 1 while talking to a friend during intermission. Congratulations again! On that note, kapagod magbasa and reply. Iâm still upset and I felt robbed. Break a leg on your remaining shows!” she said.
In the Facebook page of Showbiz Online Portal, it posted a short article with this title:
“HOT ISSUE! ARA MINA nagpakita umano ng hindi magandang manners sa Theatro?”
“Mabilis namang tinukoy ng netizens ang mga naturang personalidad batay sa litratong naibahagi ni Delgado at ani ng ilang mga matatalas ang mga mata ay maaaring si Ara Mina umano ang isa sa dalawang personalidad na tinutukoy batay sa litrato at sa IG story na ibinahagi nito,” the online report said.
Any comment, Ara? (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
