Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Jonvic Remulla confirmed that the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) has issued red notices against businessman Charlie āAtongā Ang, former Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) chief Gerald Bantag, and former police Lt. Col. Rafael Dumlao III.
āThere is a red notice against Bantag, there is a red notice against Atong Ang, there is a red notice against Dumlao,ā Remulla said during a press briefing in Valenzuela City on Monday, May 11.
Ang is accused in connection with the disappearance of cockfight enthusiasts, and Remulla recently admitted that police nearly caught him.
Bantag is considered the mastermind in the killing of veteran broadcaster Percy Lapid, who, according to Remulla, is allegedly hiding in the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR).
Dumlao was identified as the mastermind in the killing of South Korean businessman Jee Ick-joo in 2016, inside Camp Crame itself. # (ZIA LUNA)
