Millions of Americans poured into the streets today in a sweeping wave of “No Kings” protests, rejecting what organizers call Donald Trump’s authoritarian agenda.
From coast to coast, more than 3,200 coordinated events are underway across all 50 states, marking one of the largest days of political action in U.S. history, according to Occupy Democrats Facebook page
Crowds numbering in the hundreds of thousands gathered in Washington, New York, and St. Paul, with prominent figures including Robert De Niro, Rev. Al Sharpton, and New York Attorney General Letitia James joining demonstrators.
In Minnesota, Bruce Springsteen performed a new protest anthem, while smaller cities such as Hagerstown, Maryland also saw turnout in the thousands.
Protesters denounced Trump’s war in Iran, mass deportations, and attacks on democratic institutions, chanting slogans and waving handmade signs as cars honked in solidarity.
The demonstrations extended worldwide, with marches reported in London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid, and Tokyo. London alone drew an estimated half a million people in what organizers described as the UK’s largest multicultural march.
Today’s mobilization marks the third “No Kings Day” since 2025, and by far the largest, underscoring growing global opposition to Trump’s policies and his expanding executive power.# (ZIA LUNA)
