Photos of Vice President Sara Duterte with businessman and former Senator Manny Villar and his daughter, House Deputy Speaker and Lone District of Las Piñas City Representative Camille Villar, who are running for senator, have been circulating on social media.
Based on the photos, they appear to be taken behind the scenes of an alleged shoot for a campaign video showing the Vice President’s supposed endorsement of Villar.
It will be recalled that Villar is part of the Alyansa para sa Bagong Pilipinas, the administration’s senatorial slate.
Apart from the photos of VP Sara and the Villar father-and-daughter duo, photos of her with director Darryl Yap and Senator Imee Marcos have also been making the rounds. Reports suggest these were behind-the-scenes shots from a campaign video where the Vice President endorses the senator.
This has been a hot topic not only among netizens but also among prominent personalities who support former President Rodrigo Duterte, such as Mark Lopez.
“Pag isipan natin ito Peeps because this is a crucial vote sa impeachment,” Lopez wrote on Facebook.
“To me, the family’s stand on FPRRD and VP Inday Sara Duterte is a major consideration. Camille Villar is key,” he added. (TCSP)
