Vilma Santos has expressed her support for Barangas Vice Gov. Mark Leviste who is running as congressman in the third district of Batangas.
“Vice, I truly admire you and appreciate you and praying for you too na sana manalo ka rin sa hinahangad mo na distrito para sa ating lalawigan. But again, if I may reiterate, we will continue to work as a family. Okay? So to all of you and to you Vice, all the best in life. And God bless you, God bless all of us. I admire you and appreciate you Vice. Thank you,” Vilma said.
Mark backed out of the gubernatorial race to give way to the candidacy of Vilma who is running again as governor.
“After careful consideration and discernment, I have decided to step aside as a gubernatorial aspirant to honor my relationship, loyalty and support for Governor Vilma Santos-Recto. Our goal has always been and will continue to be the progressive development of the Province of Batangas,” he said in a past interview. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
