Vice Ganda is among those Filipinos who were disappointed when Chelsea Manalo didn’t land in the Top 12 of the 73rd Miss Universe pageant.
While the pageant was ongoing Vice Ganda was busy posting messages on X (formerly Twitter).
She first noticed the movements of the pageant host, Miss Universe 2012 Olivia Culpo.
“Olivia puyat ako at nakainom. Baka pwedeng wag masyadong malikot hinihilo moko ats! Relax! Go Chelsea!” she tweeted.
She then expressed admiration in the way Chelsea performed in the swimsuit competition.
“Ayan ganyan Chelsea! Gusto ko yang rampang parang may pinapahid ka sa gutter. Laban!” Vice Ganda said.
She also joked about the outfit of backstage host Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray.
“Natatakot ako baka cooking show tong Miss U! Naka apron si Catriona e,” she said in jest.
And when Chelsea did not make it in the Top 12, Vice Ganda seemingly resigned about the fate of the Philippine candidate
“Ahhh ehhhh. Ok. Bye. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!” she said.
“Thanks Chelsea! Have a safe flyt back home!” she added.
Chelsea may have not won the Miss Universe title but she was given a special prize, the Miss Universe Asia title. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
