Trevor Magallanes confirmed that he and comedienne Rufa Mae Quinto are already separated and are working on their divorce.
Trevor’s confirmation came via an Instagram post Friday the 13th of December.
“Hey guys,
“I felt like I need to explain myself based on social media and all that,” he initially wrote.
Then he announced the divorce proceedings.
“I want to make myself clear that Rufa Mae and I are in the process of a divorce.
You may be aware divorce can be very devastating to the children and also the parents. That being said, my marriage has been a shit show and I am sorry for that,” he said.
“All that matters to me at this time is getting through the divorce as best as I can and spending time with Athena.
“Happy holidays!” he added.
Rumors of their split surfaced when Trevor shared screenshots of his heated argument with Rufa Mae.
It also came right on the heels of Ruffa Mae being charged with 14 counts of violation of the Securities Regulation Code. The comedienne promised she would face the charges as soon as she returned to the country.
“I will cooperate fully with the authorities and face this issue through the proper legal forum. Rest assured, I will fight for my name and reputation,” she said in a statement.
