Sen. Bato blames PBBM for his inconsistent position on ICC arrest warrant

Senator Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa criticized President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos for altering his stance, shifting from “surrendering” to “hiding” following the looming issuance of an ICC arrest warrant against him as a co-accused of former President Rodrigo Duterte in crimes against humanity case.

“Pabagu-bago nga ang ating Presidente, ako pa. Sabi nya ga-buhok mo hindi mahahawakan ng ICC. Magbago sila, magbago rin ako. Hanggang reaksyon lang tayo kung ano ang aksyon nila,” Dela Rosa stated in an interview with Ted Failon and DJ Chacha on True FM.

“Itanong nyo kay Pres. Marcos kung bakit siya nagbabago.

I have to survive all these trials thrown before us at hindi puwedeng palamya-lamya kailangan kung ganito katuso ang gobyerno na kaharap mo kailangan mong mag-adjust,” he added.

Dela Rosa emphasized that part of his approach involves making contradictory statements, as he has studied “military strategy and tactics” at the Philippine Military Academy.

” I’m a graduate of PMA, pinag-aralan namin ang military strategy, military tactics kung kayo man ay napansin nyo ako pabagu-bago, estratehiya ko yan,”  he explained.

He also mentioned that his current reelection bid campaign resembles guerrilla tactics due to the possibility of an ICC arrest warrant being issued against him at any time. (ZIA LUNA)
