Sara Zimmerman Duterte Carpio has been hocking loogies for more than two years without drinking any expectorant, and by spitting mucus from the Office of the Vice President (OVP) to Batasang Pambansa and then on to Davao City, she has proven to be a dangerous creature. Violence is in the Duterte DNA, and the 3,000 murdered in Davao City prove that this family is lawless.
By declaring that she already hired an assassin to kill President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., his wife Liza Cacho Araneta Marcos and cousin Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez “in the event she is killed” illustrates just how reckless and uncivilized Sara is. Politicians may dismiss the threat as meaningless, but there are countless ways of exterminating enemies.
One is by lingzhi, letting the prey suffer from a thousand cuts, another is by immurement, when the subject is locked up in a coffin-like box, with only the extremities exposed and honey liberally splashed on the target, to be devoured by ants and other insects and animals. Then you have defenestration when the victim is thrown down a building.
Of course, the cleaners have better options. They may use Barrett sniper rifles, or simply tuck in a bomb or two at the rotors of choppers to show that mechanical trouble is an efficient killer in the method favored by Putin’s siloviki. A bomb may be planted in the innermost recesses of secret bunkers to kill despised dictators, with the botched blast that failed to kill Hitler offering lessons on efficiency. For the clumsy ones, Sara is one fumbling, threat-obsessed “planner” who has a battalion of rubes to do her bidding, the more threats she contrives, the uglier the result. Sara is merely an announcer who plays to the gallery of fools.
Conspirators in her mold are sure to bungle, They are empty tin cans. “Maingay dahil walang laman.” She fumbled in her attempt to explain away her errors in wasting the confidential and intelligence funds (CIFs) of both the OVP and the DepEd. The financial mismanagement is so blatant auditors are laughing themselves hoarse at the amateurish schemes hatched by Sara. Fake names, bogus signatures, multiple disbursements all over the country in one day. “Kokoy Villamin” and “Mary Grace Piattos” are possible cases of copyright infringement and identity theft. They were thinking of “Yoyoy Villame” as “Piattos” as the top bananas of the OVP and DepEd.
Sara’s biggest mistake was that she did not broaden her targets. Apart from the quad committee chairmen and vice chairmen, there is the Makabayan Coalition that sewed up the case of her deliberate dispensing of rewards to persons unknown and it cost taxpayers at least P112.5 million in December 2022 alone. When cornered like a sewer rat, Sara couldn’t explain anything. It seemed that the loogies really lodged in her throat and lungs that they couldn’t be extricated anymore. That happens when someone really fails to match the sophistication of professional liars. But then Sara is supposed to be a lawyer, and lawyers lie even in their deaths. Why didn’t she include her tormentors from the Lower House? They’ve mountains of evidence against her.
Sara thinks she is scoring political brownie points by talking about beheading Marcos Jr., killing the First Couple, and throwing Romualdez into hell. It doesn’t follow. The only guys who are demonstrating for her are her trolls, crones, and members of Apollo Quiboloy’s Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC.) They massed at the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC) on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2024, and got ridiculed, with some critics claiming the Chinese are funding the Dutertes. Possible as the Dutertes have been selling the country’s territorial claims to Xi Jinping and Sara may eventually end up as the Chinese empress of Dutertistan.
Sara’s daily tactless statements betray just how vacuous her mindset is. As Americans would say, the breeze will always pass between her ears. The last thing her staff should do is to provide her a slingshot. “Baka tiradurin and buwan, lalo na kapag supermoon.” Sara has so much of a fertile imagination that she needs another tattoo on her forehead to add a huge dose of scenario-building. The threats are beginning to look stale, the rhetoric less acidic, as the windmills of her mind appear to be not working. Sara is now working full-blast to get her billions back after claiming the OVP can work even with a P1-annual budget. Prove you can hack it. Need a slingshot to do it?
