Sandro Muhlach lodges complaint against two network contractors

After much speculation, Sandro Muhlach finally filed a formal complaint against two network contractors.

The complaint lodged at GMA Network was against  its independent “contractors” Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz.

“GMA Network has just received a formal complaint from Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach against two GMA independent contractors, Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz,” the official statement of GMA network said  Thursday, Aug. 1.

Long before the actor filed a formal complaint, the network, “recognizing the seriousness of the alleged incident, had already initiated its own investigation,” the statement further noted.

And since Sandro requested confidentiality on the matter, it was decided by the network   that the “investigating body will withhold all details of the formal investigation until its conclusion.”

“The Network assures the public and all stakeholders of its commitment to conducting this investigation with the highest standards of fairness and impartiality,” the statement added.

For days now, Sandro figured prominently on social media as the actor in a blind item who was sexually abused after a network gala.

A popular online site also reported about the incident, but it said that the molestation was not consummated.

The blind item gained traction when Ogie Diaz posted a cryptic post, believed to be his reaction on the online article.

“Anong muntik? May nangyari talaga. Believe me,” Ogie said in his post

“Wag na pagtakpan. Dapat ipaglaban at makuha ang hustisya para sa inabuso,” Ogie added.

Sandro comes from a showbiz family.  His father is former child actor Niño Muhlach.  His brother is Alonzo Muhlach and his relatives include Aga and Arlene Muhlach, Amalia Fuentes and daughter Liezel. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
