Actor Sam Milby confirmed to ABS-CBN News that he and his fiance 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray have parted ways, ending almost a year of break-up rumors. He did not state the reason and declared, “We’re okay.”
He mentioned that he is concentrating on his work and personal growth.
Sam also addressed speculations suggesting that singer Moira Dela Torre was involved in their split.
“There is no truth to it at all,” he clarified. “Sobrang close kami before, and I guess people wanted to connect our closeness to may nangyari sa amin.” He further noted, “We are not friends anymore.”
Sam and Catriona began their relationship in 2020 and got engaged in 2023.
Last year, fans noticed that Catriona had stopped wearing her engagement ring in her social media posts.
Catriona sparked further breakup rumors by removing her engagement photos with Sam.
