Punished with impunity

The missing BINI Sheena standee has been returned.

A fellow BLOOM (the term for a BINI fan) stole the standee. She was in cohort with fellow BLOOMS who helped her steal the standee after a shindig.

A fellow BLOOM  was also instrumental for the return of the missing standee.  For the effort, a private meeting with the popular all-girl group plus different BINI merchandises await the BLOOM who facilitated the return of Shena’s standee.

Who stole the standee? No one’s got the ball to name her. No, she’s not even sued for her shenanigans.

With this, she’s being punished with impunity which to us is a bad precedent.

Out of tune is in

There’s a plethora of celebrities who can’t really sing but are gifted with charisma.

One is Daniel Padilla who can’t really carry a tune but who can fill up concert venues such as Araneta Coliseum.

There’s Ian Veneracion whose boyishly handsome face more than make up for his mediocre performance.

Even non-singing actors like David Licauco, Carlo Aquino and Albie Casino get to serenade beauty pageant contestants which resulted in guffaw as they unwittingly  made a mockery of themselves while performing.

And here comes Ara Mina whose one hit novelty song made her feel she can already launch a career in singing.

Ara is all poised to display her vocal prowess  via an anniversary show.  To probably attract concertgoers, she’s invited established names in the music industry.

A one-hit song does not make you a singer.  Singing is an inborn talent. It cannot be acquired or taught.  It’s either you have the voice or you don’t. No in between!!!

Dingdong Dantes’ game show increases prizes to counter Willie Revillame’s TV comeback

Any moment now, Willie Revillame will resurface on television, all revved up and prepare to take the late afternoon timeslot he once lorded over for many years.

Easily, the Dingdong Dantes game show on GMA7 got alerted and is said to be increasing  their cash prizes just to compete with Willie’s show.

So, it appears that Dingdong’s kampante days are over.  He now faces a stiff competition from the original King of the late afternoon slot, thus the move to give bigger cash prizes.

Will the Prince of afternoon prime bow out to the rightful King?

You bet, he will.
