Alden Richards’ next movie will pair him with Julia Barretto.
The movie is titled MakMak and it is the Philippine adaptation of the Thai blockbuster supernatural horror comedy romance film PeeMak which was shown in 2013 with Thai superstar Mario Maurer and Davika Hoorne in lead roles.
The movie will be produced by Myriad and Viva Films.
Makmak will mark the first team up of Alden and Julia whose last movies made a killing at the box-office – Hello, Love, Again starring Alden and Kathryn Bernardo, and Un/Happy for You starring Julia and Joshua Garcia. Both films were shown last year.
