In an exclusive interview with PUSH,  Nadine Lustre excitedly revealed the launch of her latest brand, dehusk, a product of her partnership with her Filipino-French businessman boyfriend  Christophe Bariou.

An alternative to dairy milk, Dehusk is a plant-based milk that’s suitable for lactose-intolerant drinkers. Dehusk is the couple’ the third business venture.

“So dehusk naman–– it’s really funny because last year, Chris was actually exploring how to make plant-based milk. I remember he started talking to different people, kind of like lowkey pitching lang what if we make our own brand of plant-based milk that’s locally made,” Nadine said in the exclusive PUSH interview.

“When they pitched us dehusk, obviously we were so excited about the concept and just a lot of the things and the reasons din why our partners are doing it are exactly the same reasons why we want to do it,” she added.

As a business venture, Nadine takes pride in helping  lactose-intolerant and  local farmers as well

“Dehusk is actually sourced locally and produced locally which is good because we’re actually the number one producers or exporters of coconut. Alam mo yun, so sobrang sayang–– we’re exporting our coconuts tapos bumabalik sa atin taxed pa tayo… So when we started working on dehusk, we were so so happy kasi it would kind of help with a lot of things,” she explained.
