An avid fan of starlet Liza Soberano came yakking and reacted on our recent item about his idol’s ingratitude.
The lawyer-faney argued that his starlet idol is not an ingrate. And that it was a cuentas claras scenario where one does not owe somebody gratitude as far as his idol is concerned.
What this obviously avid fan do not know is that Liza Is really an ingrate from the start.
Liza pleadingly applied to Dudu via a Facebook message to be his talent. She was lanky then and her reed-thin figure smelled poverty if not malnutrition.
And when Dudu agreed, he had her attend acting workshops and made her join music and dance lessons. Dudu honed him before introducing her to the executives of the Kapamilya network.
And what do you know? After more than two years, Liza, a very impatient talent, complained that her career is not getting its much-needed push.
With this, Dudu sought help from Ogie Diaz who later became Liza’s manager.
That is where Liza’s ingratitude all stemmed from.
Imagine, dropping your discoverer like a hot potato?
What this lawyer-faney don’t realize is that there would be no Liza Soberano if there was no Dudu Unay in the first place.
It was not Dudu who applied to be Liza’s manager, ‘no?
Mahirap bang i-memorize ‘yan, attorney?
This lawyer, blind follower that he is, clearly does not know anything about celebrities.
Robin Padilla toiled long and hard before he became na action superstar. There were instances in his career na dinaanan lang siya ng camera. Yes, literal lang na dinaanan siya ng camera. It took him seven years before he was given his first major break as an action star.
The same is true with Cesar Montano who was just an extra for seven years before fame smiled at him.
Robin and Cesar showed gratitude to their first discoverer and mentor by helping them even when their contracts had expired.
