Mark Herras, dubbed as the Bad Boy of the Dance Floor, surprised everyone when he performed ala-Magic Mike at Apollo male entertainment bar last Saturday.
The venue is a noted gay bar located at 717-B Roxas Boulevard, Parañaque City.
Clad in a sweater and pants, Mark was introduced by host Genesis “Mamigen” Gallios.
With two male back-up dancers, Mark was decently dressed in his dance number. He wore a black sweater which was matched by a pair of black pants and rubber shoes. He danced the upbeat numbers he used to do before.
In his second segment, a chair was placed on stage where a woman was seated. Two back-up dancers initially danced. And when it was Mark’s turn, he appeared in a sleeveless white shirt. He seated himself in front of the girl. Then, he danced while at the back of the girl.
Mark’s next performance at Apollo is scheduled for January 31.
Most fans sympathized with Mark. They understood why he needed to do what he did.
“He went thru a lot in his life…. Hindi sya sumuko sa buhay. Para sa mga bashers na ang alam lang eh kumuda ng kumuda hayyy nako. Naghahanap buhay yung tao para sa pamilya niya. Buti nga buhay pa yan sa lahat ng pinagdaanan nya di siya sumuko. Kudos Mark! Sana makabangon kang muli!”
“Ang kaguwapuhan at kagandahan ay lumilipas yan. Sa loob ng entertainment world sugal ng katawan diyan. Pati kaluluwa mo dapat ipagalaw mo. Alam ng lahat yan sa loob ng showbiz world. Dahil kung “A” class actor ka (parang Antonio Banderas, Benancio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro na mga nanggaling sa theatrical stage Bago sumabak sa movie film industry) di mo kailangan maghubad. Eh, kaso, Mukha at katawan lang ang skill mo. Tas di ka naman college diploma. So ok lang yan na trabaho mo ngayon at least di ka pumapasok sa illegal business, at yun ang importante. Diskarte lang. Tignan mo si Whamos na nilalait dahil sa hitsura simple lang ang Tira ngayon milyonariyo. Kaya Wala din sa Mukha Yan na kailangan GUWAPO, maputi, makinis, etc., ang importante madiskarte ka.”
