Marcos already ‘fine tuning’ SONA speech

With the State of the Nation Address (SONA) just around the corner, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said he is already fine tuning the final stages of preparation for his annual speech, set to be delivered on Monday, July 22.

In a media interview in Apayao on Friday, July 19, Marcos said the overall content of his speech is complete.

Marcos added there are only minor adjustments left to be made in his remarks.

The President emphasized the challenge of covering the numerous topics he wishes to address, noting the need to prioritize the most critical issues.

To manage this, Marcos mentioned that his team is working to streamline the speech while ensuring all essential points are covered.

This approach allows for a more concise address, while his cabinet members can provide further details on specific topics as needed.

Reflecting on the final touches being applied, President Marcos noted the importance of clear and effective communication in his speech.

“Sinusubukan lang namin na tiyakin na maganda na ‘yung lengguwahe, na maayos lahat ng nais naming pag-usapan ay nandoon,” he said.

The President is keen to ensure that the speech not only addresses key issues but also highlights the achievements of his administration over the past year. (TCSP)
