AT times, kids can be more discerning than their parents.
Such was the incredibly astounding epiphany of Kris Aquino when her son Bimby went up to her and said: “Mom, I don’t think you’re in love…you’re just sad.”
This was during Kris got into a relationship with Batangas Vice Governor Marc Leviste.
To herself, Kris thought Bimby was right. It wasn’t exactly love that she felt for Marc.
In Ogie Diaz’s vlog interview, Kris finally made a confession that she and Marc had called it quits before her 53rd birthday on February 14.
It was in November last year when Kris admitted to have discovered certain things about Marc “na hindi ko gusto, but I’d rather not say na lang what I found out.”
Doing the math, it’s been nearly five months since Kris became single. But is she now?
Blame it on Bimby’s slip of the tongue: his mom has a newfound love.
Straight from Kris, her current boyfriend happens to be a doctor “who makes me feel confident because I know aalagaan niya ako.”
Kris just wants to get the fact straight: no overlapping ever took place as she was already non-commital with Marc before her doctor-boyfriend came into her life.
At present, Kris is optimistic about another medical procedure (MRI with dye being injected into her system which takes about an hour) which she already underwent in 2019.
If proven successful, only then can Kris continue her seemingly interminable medications here. No need to stay longer in the US.
By God’s grace–best of all–expect Kris to come home by the third quarter of the year.
In Ogie’s interview, so evident was Kris’ exuberant aura: reminiscent of her hale and hearty days.
And she can only attribute it to her unflinching faith.
