Kris Aquino expressed her gratitude to the Binays as they let her son Josh join their family’s recent Mother’s Day celebration as “adopted member” of their clan.
Aquino was particularly thankful to her close friend, Anne Binay Alcantara, who was instrumental for her eldest son’s joining what should have been just a family affair.
On Mother’s Day, Aquino posted a group photo of the Binay family with her son on her Instagram page. Josh was seen beside senator Nancy Binay.
“To my most trusted friend, @annebinay who celebrated her birthday Mother’s Day together with her Ate Sen. @nancybinay. Thank you for being so welcoming to kuya josh & making him an adopted member of your clan,” Aquino wrote in her caption.
She then praised Alcantara for being a close friend.
“Anne, the best friend anyone could wish for — THANK YOU for the unwavering love for kuya (Josh), Bimb, and me, and for keeping all my secrets close to your chest,” she added.
Aquino also shared a short insight about her health condition, stressing that her Mother’s Day celebration was a “test of courage”. It was then that she shared that she consulted a cardiologist in California.
“It’s been a ‘test of courage’ type of weekend. I had a consultation [with] a 4th doctor in UCLA, this time a cardiologist. It’s the start of Mother’s Day here and moms have never been cowards. In this instance, please help me pray for good health for all moms and a very ‘Brave Heart’ for yours truly,” Aquino said.
Last Valentine’s Day, her birthday, Aquino revealed that she was to try a new medication which comes with a great risk as she has a “very strong chance of having cardiac arrest.”
Aquino said she will be given baby doses of the medicine but she does not have immunity from other sickness. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
