Kris made the revelation in her exclusive interview with Ogie Diaz where she quashed romance rumor with Batangas vice-governor Mark Leviste.
Kris disclosed that she has broken up with
Mark and she’s now in a relationship with a doctor.
The breakup, as per Kris’ admission, was caused by her son Bimby.
“Hindi sila nagkasundo noong ex ko. Hindi niya gusto, eh,” said Kris who was beside Bimby when she made the revelation.
“It matters to me because he knows me best. Siya at si kuya (Joshua), ‘yung opinion nila really matters,” she said.
What made her decide to break up with Mark was Bimby’s observation which she finds very rational.
Once Bimby told her: “‘Mama, I don’t really think that you love him. I think you’re just sad.”
That made an impact on her so she decided to let go of Mark.
Now that their romance had gone kaput, Kris said that “we both tried and I’d like to say that we’re still friendly pero at a distance na.”
When asked if Mark tried to win her back again, the Queen of Talk said he did.
“Kung sumusubok man, sarado na ‘yung pinto,” she said. “Wag na nating iano kasi magmumukang nilaglag ko pa, so ‘wag na lang. I wish him the best and I’m sure he wishes me well also,” she added.
Kris was quick to clarify that there was no overlapping in her love life.
“I want to clarify lang kasi people might have the wrong impression. So, it’s been four months, maybe more. Gusto ko mag-move on and I think I have (moved on),” she said.
Later, she revealed that she’s now into a new relationship.
“He’s a doctor. And I think it’s part of the reason why it is easy kasi alam niya kung ano ang pinagdadaanan ko and he’s part of the reason why I’m confident na puwede akong umuwi. Kasi alam ko na thres someone who will help in taking care of me,” she said.
