Singer Rhaila Tomakin stated that she seeks serious relationships and that Kobe Paras is not her usual type.
“Kobe is not my type. I am not into sports people. I am into business people. I like a guy who can stimulate my mind. I want a guy who knows how to be a man. I don’t want to have to teach someone how to be a man. I need maturity, I want older guys,” she said in a media interview yesterday.
This follows accusations from fans suggesting she was involved in the relationship between Paras and Kylie Alcantara.
Earlier this year, Tomakin and Paras were seen together in Bali, Indonesia.
“We are friends, really good friends, but that’s about it,” she stressed.
“I get how easily it can be misunderstood. I don’t want to disrespect anyone, but I was not trying to insert myself or hurt anyone’s feelings. It was a matter of same place, same time. We had a simple moment. I don’t read too much into it,” she added.
Tomakin explained that she was in Bali with friends and that Paras had already ended his relationship with Alcantara.
“To my knowledge, before Bali, they were already long broken up,” she recalled.
“It was a group trip. People think it was a honeymoon. We were all there together. It was so innocent. People just twisted it.”
Although she does not know Alcantara personally, Tomakin expressed her best wishes for the Kapuso actress.
“I wish her all the best. I wish her more projects, more love, more happiness, because girls usually get the blunt of scrutiny, no? Grabe, lalaki usually they get away scot free. Sa babae people are so critical.” (ZIA LUNA)
