Julia Barretto broke her silence on the issue that she ordered temporary area closures in Camiguin.
The actress recently visited Camiguin for Juju On The Go.
“A particular Nikka Kho has publicly claimed that I ordered these closures, labeling me as entitled and selfish,” Julia stated on her Instagram account.
She denied having a hand in the closure.
“To clarify: I was not involved in any decisions regarding closures. The coordination and management of the locations were entirely under the jurisdiction of the local government,” she said.
“To assume I had the authority to dictate such decisions is both unfair and misleading,” she added.
With that, Julia revealed that she is taking legal action against those who spread false and misleading information against her.
Addressing Kho, she said “I hope neither you nor anyone in your life would have to experience the kind of unfounded attack and cruel words you have directed at me without having knowledge of what has transpired. Words have weight, and spreading misinformation can cause real harm.” (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
