After an absence of two months, Janine Gutierrez has returned to travel vlogging, documenting her journey to Italy when she attended the Venice Film Festival.
Janine’s First Time In Venice video has already garnered more than 67,000 views.
She started the video by showing her room in Qatar before she lands on Venice, Italy.
“I have a movie ticket for an Angelina Jolie movie Maria at 9 o’clock which is less than an hour, she said.
“There’s also a talk mamayang hapon. Sigourney Weaver, she won the Golden Lion Lifetime Achievement. May talk siya mamayang hapon. Hopefully, we can make it,” she added
“I know it’s been awhile but I’ve been busy being Iris for Lavender Fields lately so vlogs are taking more time than usual,” she said to describe the video. Lavender Fields is the toprating Kapamilya series starring Jodi Sta. Maria and Jericho Rosales.
Janine graced the Venice Film Festival for the film Phantosmia.
Janine showcases the many relaxed moments she had while in Venice like riding the gondola, hailing a water taxi back to their hotel, visiting some scenic spots, and walking at the black carpet for the Venice Film Festival. She also answered some questions in a short media huddle where she shared her excitement in doing Filipino films for world cinema.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to be part of a local film that makes it to the global stage. I know there’s so much talent in the Philippine industry and there’s so much potential there and I’m so happy to be with a group of people who feel the same way,” she said.
“It’s really about these important stories that need to be heard the world over, told from a uniquely Filipino point of view,” she added.
She then filmed herself while inside the plane and headed back home.
Fans were requesting Janine to feature her Lavender Fields co-star and suitor Jericho Rosales in her next vlog.
