Many were surprised at the way Alden Richards displayed his seemingly new style in hosting the recently-concluded Miss Universe Philippines.
Serving as the main host of the pageant, Alden’s voice, as obseved by the bashers, was a few decibel louder when he introduced this year’s finalist.
To the bashers, it was evident that Alden was not in his usual hosting element when he delivered his emceeing chores. He sounded like he was shouting as he announced the pageant’s finalists.
Some netizens questioned Alden’s hosting style.

But there are those who defended the actor.
“Ok naman ang hosting nya!!!, ano ba mga problema ninyo? Gusto nyo parang wisper lang ang boses nya? Haaay you can’t please everybody talaga, Oh!!!,gusto nyo kayo nalang pumalit kay Alden, wala kayong magagawa time ngayon ni Alden.”
“Nakaka excite nga pag announce nya,unlike ng iba walang ka buhay buhay.”
