Guo should go: Docs show mom as Chinese national

FROM all indications, embattled Bamban Mayor Alice Go doesn’t have a drop of Filipino blood after all, as Senator Risa Hontiveros released documents showing links between her and her supposed Chinese mom —  Lin Wen Yi.

In a statement, Lin whom Hontiveros  suspected of being her Chinese national “could actually be Guo’ biological mother.”

According to Hontiveros, documents showed Lin and the mayor’s siblings — Sheila Guo and Siemen Guo, and her father Jian Zhong Guo — are all co-incorporators in seven of Guo’s businesses.

“Magkakamag-anak ba silang lahat? Is this one big, dubious family business? As Senator Win (Gatchalian) also noted, travel records show that Jian Zhong Guo and Lin Wen Yi traveled together at least 170 times in the span of six years,” Hontiveros averred.

“Business partner lang nga ba o baka asawa talaga?,” she added..

Guo has repeated insisted that she’s a lovechild of her dad sith Amelia Leal whom she said was their household helper who left her soon after giving birth.

“Alang-alang sa aking mga kababayan na nagtitiwala at nagmamahal sa akin ay buong tapang ko pong sasabihin na ako po’y isang love child ng mahal kong ama sa aming kasambahay,” said Guo.

“Na ako po ay iniwan ng aking biological mother bata pa ako noon. At ako’y pinalaki at itinatago sa loob ng isang farm,” she added.

Hontiveros however doubted Guo’s fairytale-like story as the document in her posession showed Lin may have given birth to Guo while she was 15 years-old.

“1971 ang birth year nitong Lin Wen Yi. Kung siya ang tunay na ina, 15 years old lang siya nang iniluwal si Alice. At kung siya din ang ina ni Sheila na aminado si Alice na kapatid niya, aba 13 years old lang siya nung niluwal si Sheila?,” the senator noted.

“Unless ito ay gawa-gawa lang lahat.”

Hontiveros likewise flagged Guo for continuously lying under oath for claiming she doesn’t know her siblings, even as document showed they travelled together — not just once.

“She has been lying through her teeth the past two hearings. Ang daming imbento, halos wala nang lumalabas na totoo sa bibig niya,” an obviously pissed off Hontiveros said.

“Kung Chinese pala ang ina, at Chinese umano ang ama, mapapatunayan na hindi nga talaga Pilipino si Mayor.” (ANGEL F. JOSE)
