Rommel Ramilo revealed the bad experience of his talent, Gerald Santos, after he complained to the executives of GMA about a musical director who nearly molested him.
Gerald was fifteen years old when that unfortunate incident happened and according to Rommel, his ward’s complaint seemingly fell on deaf ears.
While the musical director was booted out of his shows, Gerald’s projects were lessened.
“There was no clear/concrete resolution of this case until now,” panimula ni Ramilo. “Naalis yung isa, yes. But while still in the network, Gerald was treated as an outcast for bringing up his case to the top level management,” Family said.
“He was given very few works after that, until wala na talagang work na binibigay. We are trying to forge a compromise with them but he was released instead,” he added.
Until this day. Gerald, according to Romnel, is not allowed to guest in any entertainment programs of the Kapuso network.
“We had to go through the lonely battles with a giant network,” he said.
Fans of Gerald showed support in the comment section of a Facebook entertainment site.
“So sad, but we are getting to know GMA….better…hope more parties with similar concerns with GMA and the “contractors” of GMA would come out and rally behind Gerald Santos and the young Mulach.”
