AMID an imminent International Criminal Court’s issuance of an arrest warrant over extrajudicial killings which took place under his six-year stint, President may as well consider an escape plan — just like what his friend Russian President Vlademir Putin did to save his ass from spending the rest of his days behind bars.

In a news article which first appeared in the Daily Mail, Russian President Vlademir Putin has reportedly started working on his own plan on sneaking out of his country should Russia be defeated by a US-backed Ukraine.

Dubbed as Noah’s Ark, the plan embarks on three countries, Presidents of which have already been contacted by Putin’s trusted lieutenants, who have allegedly been working on the escape routes of the embattled Russian President..

Plan A is to flee to Venezuela with which Putin has established quite a good relationship with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Plan B is to seek exile in Syria – or Plan C which points to Iran as a possible destination just in case the former doesn’t conform.

As for Duterte, he has no other option but to go to China, which has been targeting to add the Philippines among its long list of provinces to avoid being arrested and jailed over human rights violations and extrajudicial killings covering the war against drugs he waged during his administration.

Interestingly, the number of deaths during the bloody drug war varies – the Philippine National Police had over 6,000, human rights groups said that figures could breach 30,000. (ANGEL F. JOSE)
