Dingdong Dantes denies with seeming vehemence that he has a child with former actress Lindsay de Vera.
Muted conversations of late and online revelations have surfaced that Dingdong and Lindsay had a love child in the past.
In a recent interview of Dingdong with Boy Abunda in Fast Talk, Boy asked Marian Rivera’s husband if the rumor is true.
“Wala po. Hindi po totoo,” came Dingdong’s outright denial.
Initially, Dingdong didn’t want to dignify the issue as it was bereft of truth.
“Sa totoo lang, eh, nagdadalawang- isip talaga ako kagabi kung may sasabihin ba ako about the topic and the issue kasi alam kong baka tanungin ninyo eh. Pero para sa akin po kasi, dahil may mga tumatawag na po sa ‘kin na mga kaibigan, mga kamag-anak, ‘yung mga nagmamalasakit po sa ‘kin and because I have a responsibility dito sa aking mga mahal sa buhay, sa aking mga kaibigan ay responsibilidad ko na klaruhin ang isyung ito dahil mahalagang mahalaga po ang aspetong ito para sa akin,” Dingdong explained.
That said, the actor’s feels “I have responsibility to clear things like this because I love my wife, I love my family very much, my kids. ”
That’s why I’m saying it is not true,” he mused.
“I’m okay that I cleared it because kailangan talaga,” he added.
Dingdong revealed that he and wife Marian had a good laugh upon hearing then rumor.
“Sa totoo lang noong una ay pinagtatawanan namin ni Marian. Kami ni Marian, pinagtatawanan namin siya. Marami ang nakapanood so natural lang din na may nagtatanong sa akin. Once and for all, I am clarifying na hindi siya totoo,” he said. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
