When social media personality Cat Arambulo-Antonio posted a short video of her experience during typhoon Carina, not a few raised their collective eyebrows.
Cat’s Tiktok video had netizens criticizing the social media personality for her insensitivity.
Seemingly, that included actress Bela Padilla.
In a now-deleted video, it showed Cat and her children while inside a van and passing through a flooded area.
“Wow, look at this⌠the baha is nuts,â she initially said.
âFirst time for the kids to experience baha here in Manila⌠Safe kaya mag-floatie diyan, Yaya? I guess so, itâs just water,â she said in the video.
What followed was a short clip inside her house which showed wet floors.
The video recieved nothing but criticism on social media that seemingly pressuredb Cat to delete it.
Some celebrities found the video insensitive and that includes Bela who in a post seemingly took a swipe at Cat.
âYou see people risking their lives for their loved ones and your question is if you and your kids can use a floatie here? Come on,â she said I’m her post.
âCouldâve been a nice teaching moment for your kids but [shrug emoji],â she added.
Netizens have collectively agreed with Bela’s post.
“Good job Bela! Napaka OA din nitong babae na to⌠cge mg floaty2 kyo dun sa gitna ng damp! Duhhhh.”
“Floaty lang? Mag scuba pa kayo.”
“Arty, artey naman dis girl.”
