When Nadine Lustre’s boyfriend, Christophe Bariou, recently started a mini Q&A portion in his Instagram page, most questions were about his famous inamorata.
One particular fan asked about his first impression of Nadine.
Christophe was initially attracted by Nadine’s cuteness.Ā But later, what drove him to be more attracted to the actress was her hardworking ways and his purpose-driven lifestyle.
“My first impression: Yes, she was cute, but what immediately stood out was how, even on holiday with friends, as soon as she arrived she was hard at work on her laptop while the others relaxed by the pool with cocktails,” Christophe initialy said.
But later, he discoveredĀ that “She came across as someone very purpose-driven and (maybe a little too) hardworking.”
“When I eventually learned she was ‘kind of famous,’ I initially thought, ‘Never mind, no way, I don’t want drama.’ (Always been trying to stay low-key). But after talking to her one-on-one, I realized we had a lot in common, and she was surprisingly down-to-earth,” he said.
Nadine and Christophe met in 2021. They were introduced by a common friend while living on a villa in Siargao.
After that, they found themselves talking more and more when they got back to Manila.
