Coming right on the heels of her best actress win at the 47th Gawad Urian Award last June 8, Charlie Dizon exhanged i do’s with Carlo Aquino in a secret wedding ceremony, June 9.
The wedding ceremony was held at a private resort in Silang, Cavite.
As reported by an online website, in the wedding entourage were Sue Ramirez who was Charlie’s maid of honor; Belle Mariano, Kaila Estrada, and Adrian Lindayag as her bridesmaids; Loisa Andalio as the candle bearer; Elisse Joson as the veil sponsor; and Alexa Ilacad took care of the cord.
Among the principal sponsors as reported by Kapamilya Online World Facebook page were “ABS-CBN CEO and President Carlo Katigbak, COO for Broadcast Cory Vidanes, ABS-CBN Board of Directors member Charo Santos-Concio, Maricel Soriano, Olivia Lamasan, Vilma Santos-Recto, Veronique del Rosario-Corpuz of Viva, Star Magic Head Laurenti Dyogi, Senator Bong Revilla and his wife Cong. Lani Mercado.”
On the same day, June 9, reports about the wedding surfaced as Xean Nucum Hair and Makeup Artistry posted what looks like a wedding makeup session.
In a report by an online portal. It said that director Dwein Baltazar was overheard to have said that the next day, June 9, would be Charlie’s wedding to Carlo. This was during the 47th Gawad Urian Awards where Charlie was proclaimed best actress for her and Carlo’s movie Third World Romance.
It was in December 2022 when dating rumors surfaced about them. Carlo posted a photo of them together in his social media account.
