Chaotic political scenario

Of late, the political scenario in this country is replete with chaos.

Warring political parties, the Dutertes on one side and the Marcoses on the other side, have given instability which further cause divisiveness among the people.

Sara Duterte firmly believes she was personally being persecuted over her treatment of her confidential funds.

What it escalated to was her blunt attacks on the Marcoses, dragging into the fray First Lady Liza Marcos and House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

The mudslinging Sara opened fire has evolved in the murky details of Philippine politics where everyone assailed anyone.  The free for all battle left politics a bad name.  What’s even worse were the attackers on both ends.

This political upheaval, witnessed on a ringside view, gives any Filipino a glimpse of how politically motivated people would to everything to emerge successful.

While there were battles won and some wars lost, there is no denying the fact that the tax-paying public was the most abused as their hard-earned money which went to tax was all used for naught.

The wickedness of all the participating political personalities unwittingly reveals itself, making the public aware of how funds are wantonly used for anyone’s whims and caprice.

If any, there’s one thing that can be learned from this political mess – that most politicians can’t be trusted.  That most people who elected politicians were duped into believing that they were makatao, maka-Diyos, makamasa.

It’s just said that these politicians were graduates from the most prestigious schools, chauffeur-driven, and lives in the enclaves worth millions if not billions.

What they end up are thieves, of the heartless kind, who know nothing about poverty.

These soul-less politicians who live a life of luxury will soon regret their shenanigans.  After all, justice beyond life is the best justice they will all experience.

So, poor Pinoys should not fret. You are better in more ways than one against politicians who disguise themselves as honorable when in fact they’re despicable.
