Mark Andrew Yulo, father of two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo, recently celebrated his birthday.
Sadly, Carlos was nowhere near him during his dad’s birthday party celebration.
Carlos’ mother, Angelica Yulo, posted videos and photos of the happy celebration held at Newport World Resorts.
“Celebrating Mark Andrew Yulo’s birthday with the fam bam. Thank you so much to our sponsor Miss Jojie and her husband. God bless you always,” she said in her caption.
The celebration was capped by some dancing and singing as all were there to celebrate the elder Yulo’s birthday.
It would have been complete if the gymnast had been there to celebrate his father’s birthday.
Recall that last August, Carlos acknowledged his dad’s presence among the crowd who welcomed him after scoring two gold medals at Paris Olympics.
“Maraming salamat, Pa. Masaya ako nakita kita don nakasuporta! Pasensya na, Pa, hindi ako masyado nakakaway. Ang daming nagpa-autograph hehe. Kitakits soon, Pa,” he said.
But all it became an empty promise as he didn’t even bother to give a birthday message to his dad.
With Carlos’ act of snobbery to his dad, bashers were infuriated.
