Popular P-pop group BINI had to cut short their Independence Day performance as the audience became unruly.

Just after performing their hit Lagi, the group already noticed that a fan fainted which made them appeal to the audience to behave.

But their request seemed to fell on deaf ears as the crowd became more unruly, with some fans climbing up post and scaling barriers just to get near them and get the better view of their show.

With this, BINI’s performance reached a screeching halt. They had to cut short their show for the safety of their audience.

After the event, BINI posted on Facebook and explained why they cut short their performance.

“Thank you to everyone who supported us tonight! However safety should always come first and we hope for your understanding. More chances to see each other real soon! We hope everyone gets home safely tonight. Thank you so much! Happy Independence Day,” the popular female group said.

“More chances to see each other real soon! We hope everyone gets home safely tonight,” they added.

Composed of eight girls, BINI released their pre-debut single Da Coconut Nut in 2020, after which they officially debuted in 2021 via Born to Win. This was after training for Star Hunt Academy for two years.

Major success came when they were recognized as the first Filipino pop group with the most monthly listeners on Spotify. They were also the first to top Billboard’s Philippine Songs Chart and the first group to receive the Billboard Philippines Women in Music “Rising Star” Award. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
