The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has dismissed claims circulating that the Bayan Muna Party-list has been disqualified from the May 2025 elections.
On Saturday, Comelec addressed the issue following the spread of a supposed press statement from the Office of the Comelec spokesperson, which allegedly announced the party listโs disqualification. The poll body clarified that while the statement’s layout and format resembled official Comelec releases, the information contained in it was inaccurate.
