Broadcaster Arnold Clavio was deeply saddened by the passing of fellow Kapuso sports anchor Chino Trinidad who died of heart attack last Saturday night.
Arnold paid tribute to Chino in his latest Instagran post where he shared some photos including his last convo with the sports journalist.
“Chino: “Ayos ka na Noy… Tama ka–Listen to our bodies!”
“Arnold: “Makinig ka! Hehe ingat. Worst is over”
“Chino: “Marami ka pa gagawin at matutulungan…”
“Arnold: “Tayo!”
In his caption, Arnold shared how Chino asked about his condition when he suffered from hemorrhagic stroke while driving.
“Kinumusta mo pa ako noong June 15 , ilang araw matapos ako ay nagkaroon ng hemorrhagic stroke,” came Arnold’s caption.
Then, the news anchor penned his emotional message to the late sportscaster.
“Rest in peace bro. Enjoy your journey. Paki-kumusta mo na rin kami kay ama, Mike Enriquez. Paalam,” Arnold said.
Arnold documented his recovery period via posts on Instagram where he shared photos and videos of himself while walking with a cane and undergoing medical tests. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
