It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis believes there are a plethora of celebrities who deserve to have their wax figures made by Madame Tussauds.
Anne is recently unveiled as the fifth FIlipino with a Madame Tussauds statue. Other Pinoy celebrities who were honored with their wax figures by Madame Tussauds were Manny Pacquiao, Pia Wurtzbach, Catriona Gray, and Lea Salonga.
In an exclusive interview with Philstar.com, Anne was queried who are the Pinoy celebrities who deserve to have a wax figure next.
“I would say we have Regine Velasquez, Sarah Geronimo, of course, my sis, Vice Ganda,” Anne said, noting that the It’s Showtime main host make a perfect representation for the LGBTQIA community.
Anne added that Batang Quiapo’s lead star and director Coco Martin is also deserving of a wax figure as he was bequeathed “the longest-running action star on television” title. Another is Kathryn Bernardo whose blockbuster movie Hello, Love, Goodbye was shot in Hong Kong.
Anne also mentions Nation’s Girl Group BINI and two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo as very deserving personalities to have a wax figure.
“Ang daming possibilities depending on what genre,” she noted. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
