Analisa Josefa Corr, 53, who describes herself as an international interior designer who happens to be passionately engaged in “boudoir” photography, could have lived in relative obscurity in Sydney until society columnist Andrew Hornery pounced on her and her mother, former model Evelin Hegyesi who posed for Playboy.

In his Private Sydney column for the Sydney Morning Herald on May 21, 2022, Hornery wrote that it was amazing for Corr to avoid the limelight for 51 years despite the fact that she was the daughter of Ferdinand Marcos Sr. and said to be a favorite of her grandmother, Josefa Edralin Marcos. In fact, Analisa carried then grandma’s given name. Josefa was said to be close to Carmen Ortega, with whom Marcos Sr. purportedly had four children and was the resident of what is now being bruited about as a “Marcos ancestral home” in San Juan City. The home was originally owned by the Arnaiz family.

Hornery noted that with the ascendancy of Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to the presidency in the May 2022 election, Corr could no longer fly under the radar, and exposed the secret that Analisa Corr was the daughter of Marcos Sr. and Evelin Hegyesi, whom the Filipino strongman met in Paris. Last month, Corr became grist for the Australian tabloids after she figured in a fight over the use of a toilet on board a Jetstar flight from Hobart, Tasmania to Sydney.

The row happened after Corr and her current husband, Jimmy, had a drinking binge on Dec. 29, 2024, with Annalisa grabbing and shaking another passenger as she exited a toilet. The two pleaded not guilty to charges of violating safety instructions and consuming alcohol not provided by the crew. If found guilty, they could be fined up to A$13,750 ($8,520; £6,925) for each charge. Analisa denied assaulting a fellow passenger on board the plane, a crime which carries up to two years in prison.

Photos carried by the Sydney Morning Herald, Instagram and other outlets showed a striking resemblance of Josefa Edralin Marcos to Analisa Corr, whose marriage to businessman Dean Fleming, scion of a wealthy owner of a supermarket chain, ended in 2010 after he was found to be carrying on an affair with Shari-Lea Hitchcock, whom Hornery described as the former mistress of the late cardboard mogul Robert Platt. Analisa and Dean have a daughter, Tahni Hegyesi Fleming.

Analisa’s mother, Evelin Hegyesi who once posed in a mink bikini, also appeared in a Playboy magazine spread entitled “Girls of Australia” in 1969. “The story goes – and it’s one Hegyesi has never spoken about publicly (and she didn’t respond to Private Sydney’s requests this week) – she met Marcos while working as a model in Paris in 1970.”

“It was around the same time Marcos, while married to Imelda, was looking for a new mistress after the end of his illicit affair with American actress Dovie Beams, who had famously gone to the media with a secret recording featuring Marcos singing and making pet names for body parts. Marcos had reportedly pleaded with Beams to have a child with him as a sign of his virility. In 1971, when Hegyesi was about to give birth to Analisa, she was sent to Sydney where Marcos had bought a splendid Point Piper mansion for the two to live in,” Hornery wrote in his 2022 column.

“Old friends of Hegyesi have claimed her relationship with the dictator lasted up to 15 years and that she would meet him a few times each year at a safe house in the exclusive gated community of Forbes Park in Manila. But they did not meet after he was forced into exile to Hawaii in 1986. In later years she had a relationship with thoroughbred stud owner, the late James ‘Major’ Mitchell, who pioneered the successful Yarraman Park near Scone,” Hornery concluded. (DIEGO MORRA)
