Young actress Amanda Zamora denied with seeming vehemence romance rumor linking her to Daniel Padilla.
Amanda also pleaded netizens to stop reading baseless rumors and fake news about her and Daniel.
“I kindly ask everyone to stop spreading baseless rumors and fake news where I am in no way associated with. May we be kinder in words towards one another and practice discernment, especially on the internet,” she said in her post.
It all started when Ogie Diaz asked on his Youtube vlog the recent issue about Daniel, asking if it was true that a certain “Amanda” is making the actor happy.
Amanda is the daughter of San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora.
The mayor also denied his daughter’s romantic involvement with Daniel in an interview during the launching of a beauty clinic in San Juan.
“So, bilang isang ama, gusto ko sabihin sa inyo lahat na hindi po totoo yan,” he said.
He denied, too, that Padilla was with her daughter while walking. Photos of them surfaced on social media which have gone viral.
“Definitely hindi ko po anak yun, kung sakaling may mga viral photos.”
“Oh, yes. Si Amanda has been single all her life so hindi po totoo yan.
In fact, I’m surprised as a father. At her age, single pa rin siya kasi ano, e, very independent-minded and marami siyang gusto gawin sa buhay.
“So, kung maaalala ninyo, ang one and only major exposure naman niya sa showbiz really then was Pinoy Big Brother.
“Tapos, after that, nagkaroon siya ng movie, yung Connected under Star Magic.
“So, after that medyo, naglay-low na rin siya,” he added.
Mayor Francis also gave an update on his daughter.
“She’s 23 years old. She’s now focused on her studies kasi siya po ay, in fact, nasa Amerika po ngayon,” he said. (NIGEL CHAVEZ DE ESTRADA)
